AXA Award on The role of lifestyle in cognitive and everyday functioning at older ages
Research Outline
Her two-years program is based on cognitive training, physical activity and nutritional intervention. It also includes monitoring of lifestyle risk risk factors for later dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Participants will be assessed after 7 years to measure the program’s long-term effects.
The ground-breaking findings will be directly translated for usage by clinicians, the general public and policy makers.
