Driving Innovation in Economic Policy Partnership Extension
In 2024, the AXA Research Fund and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) renewed their strategic partnership aimed at addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges. This collaboration was designed to foster innovative research, strengthen policy networks, and deliver actionable insights to tackle critical global issues, via high-profile initiatives aiming to expand reach and impact of the CEPR.
A joint conference, resulting from the previous three years of partnership, was co-organized on September 11, 2024, under the theme: “Towards a Sustainable and Insurable Future.” Two panels brought together leading academics, policymakers, and private sector practitioners to explore two pivotal issues:
1. (Un)insurability and climate risk.
2. The role of climate finance in transitioning to a sustainable, greener economy.
