Build Cloud-outage resilience based on the cyberspace Endogenous Security Framework
This project is supported under the AXA Research Fund / Swiss Re Institute – Joint Risk Resilience Partnership.
Cloud services drive digital transformation but increasing reliance on them heightens the risk of outages with serious societal and economic consequences. This research leverages Cyberspace Endogenous Security theory to develop a comprehensive framework for measuring and improving cloud-outage resilience, supporting liability pricing and cybersecurity solutions.
The project objective includes:
Identify potential cyber scenarios, risk exposures, and impacts of cloud-outage risks across industries
Develop a multidimensional cloud-outage resilience measure using the cyberspace endogenous security framework
Quantify the economic mitigation effects of resilience under this framework
Explore strategies to enhance resilience in cloud-outage scenarios
