Intervertebral disc aging and degeneration: from pathophysiology to innovative treatments

To meet the needs of people affected by severe low back pain, Pauline Colombier is studying age-related degeneration of the interverterbral discs in an effort to develop treatments based on the promising approach of tissue engineering.
